Shoresh David is a tithing congregation, meaning that 10% percent of all tithes and general donations received are provided as an offering to our two covering organizations: Tikkun America and the UMJC. Both of these ministries do much for edification of the Body of Messiah and specifically Messianic Jewish ministry, both in Israel and the USA. In turn, oversight and other governmental resources are provided by these two entities. Please visit our Resources section to learn more about these organizations.
In addition to this offering, Shoresh David provides small contributions to five other ministries that we strongly support. Our hope is that separate from the tithe you may provide to your own home congregation, that you may consider blessing ministries such as the three following:
1. Mitch Tepper – Christian Witness to Israel

Mitch Tepper is CWI’s full-time missionary in the United States; he is a Jewish believer originally from Brooklyn who met the LORD over 40 years ago. For over ten years, he has been living in the Pittsburgh area with his wife Mia, also a Jewish believer and worship leader, where he has been involved in training for pastoral ministry and Biblical Counseling at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Mitch is currently reaching out o the Greater Pittsburgh area, while also finding access to communities in New York, Cleveland, and Southern Florida. CWI looks to people and congregations to help Mitch share Yeshua and to make the Gospel known to Jews as well as Gentiles.

Nathan was raised in a Reform Jewish home in Scarsdale, N.Y. At the age of eighteen, through the testimony of others, Nathan came to know Yeshua as his Messiah and Lord. He has been involved in the Messianic Movement since 1994 and served as pastor of Shoresh David Messianic Congregation from 2005-2019.
Nathan currently leads PLEA OVER PITTSBURGH, a ministry inviting Christians into a fixed priesthood of intercession for Pittsburgh’s Jewish community leaders.
1. Pastor Igor Bagirov – Beth-El Ministries
Ministering from Cleveland, Ohio…
Beth-El Ministries’ focus is reaching lost people and sharing the Good News with them, glorifying God’s name, having a good fellowship and building part of God’s Kingdom on this earth through fellowship, worship and the preaching of God’s Word. Pastor Igor Bagirov and his congregation understand the Jewish roots of Christianity. All Apostles were Jewish, and so was the first church. They believe, that we live in the time of salvation of Hebrew remnants.
In 2002, with God’s help and blessing, Pastor Igor started the new Messianic Congregation “Magen David” in South Euclid. Recently, the ministry took the new name “Beth-El”, which means “The House of God”. One more House of God in Cleveland, Ohio, one more place where people can find the salvation, where they can hear the Good News, and find rest for their tired souls!

2. Matthew & Rebecca Smoler – Israel Initiatives
Ministering from Kansas City…
Matthew Smoler is a missionary with the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. IHOPKC is an evangelical missions organization that is committed to serving the Great Commission through proclaiming the excellence of Yeshua and advancing night and day prayer (since 1999).
Matthew serves on the management team for the Israel Initiatives as well as leads corporate prayer for Israel. Rebecca and Matthew are filled with a passion to help equip the body of Messiah to embrace the Gospel of the Kingdom, prayer, and the salvation of Israel!

3. Avi and Tzofiya Rogers – As You Go Ministries
Residing in South Florida…
Tzofiya, a Jewish believer, played an integral role in the establishing of several South Florida churches, is the founder of As You Go Ministries and is an ambassador for Tikkun Global. helping impart revival through “As You Go” ministry teaching within Tikkun’s network of congregations and acts as a bridge to the larger church body of Messiah.
Tzofiya with husband Avi Rogers co-founded Beth Tikkun Messianic Congregation, North Carolina, where Tzofiya served as its ministry pastor alongside Avi the Congregational Leader from 2015 to 2019. In 2019 Tzofiya was Commissioned as a prophet by Harvest International Ministries (HIM).
